Policies
Re-entry and transfer students
Re-entry policy
Students are allowed to re-enter the program. All re-enrolling students will be provided with the Institution’s most recent Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP) and will be evaluated by the Institution’s Director for placement in the curriculum and kit needs (re-enrolling students may be required to purchase the current institution kit). Students applying for re-entry or transfer-in from other schools may be required, as a condition of enrollment, to bring delinquent (prior) student loans to a current status.
Transfer students
Students wishing to transfer into Profile Institute of Barber-Styling must first meet all admissions requirements and provide an official transcript from their previous school. Each transfer student is interviewed and evaluated by an Instructor/Director on theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as the length of time since they attended their previous program. Transfer hours granted are based on the interview and evaluation.
Transfer students must enroll for a minimum of three hundred (300) clock hours. Additional hours may be necessary if all requirements for graduation are not met.
Tuition is charged on a pro-rata basis and includes a non-refundable application fee and any equipment and books necessary to complete the training. Accepted transfer hours count as both attempted and completed hours when determining the allowable maximum time frame.
Class start dates
