HISTORY

Profile Institute of Barber-Styling opened June 5, 1989, after becoming licensed by the Georgia State Board of Barbers.  It has been in continuous operation since the date of opening under its founder, owner and director, Curtis McGee.  Since opening, the institution has graduated students from communities throughout some border states.  Many of the graduates have opened their own barber businesses and have proven to be successful.  The Institution is a community-based training facility and has been in the same location since its creation.  On November 1, 2017, Michael and Phyllis Childs became the new owners.  Profile Institute of Barber-Styling continues to be committed to its students and the Atlanta community.
